Project Overview

The Capacity Estimator is a mobile-first application developed for the Cold Storage industry, designed to simplify and accelerate the cost inquiry process for cold storage space and capacity requirements.

Users can enter their space requirements and receive an estimated capacity based on their inputs. The resulting values are carried into the inquiry form, allowing users to submit their requirements without manually calculating or re-entering information.

A custom administrative dashboard gives the Cold Storage team a centralized view of submitted inquiries and their corresponding estimates.

The Challenge

The traditional cost inquiry process can be slow when capacity calculations and information handling are performed manually.

Customers may need to provide their requirements, wait for calculations to be completed, and go through additional communication before their inquiry can be reviewed.

This creates unnecessary delays and introduces opportunities for incomplete or inconsistent information.

The goal was to create a more efficient experience for both customers and administrators by simplifying estimation and bringing submitted inquiries into one centralized system.

The Solution

We developed a mobile application centered around an interactive Capacity Estimator.

Submitted inquiries are then sent to the server and made available through the custom administrator dashboard.
